Yandang Mountain
Located in the southeast of Wenzhou City, Yandang Mountain is 68 km away from downtown. The mountain was firstly discovered in the Southern and Northern Dynasties (420 A.D.-589 A.D.) and became famed in Song dynasty.
With an area of 450 sq. km., the mountain consists of more than 500 scenic spots. It features the peculiar peaks, odd-shaped rocks, ancient caves and spectacular waterfalls. For its various and distinct surface features, it is considered as a natural museum of geomorphy. Besides, the mountain is a good place for the scientific research.
