Tian Mu Lake

 

Most of the lake region is located in Li yang City. The region covers about 300 sq. km. including two national reservoirs. The average water depth is 10 meters but the deepest site is at 28 meters.

The lake has been listed as one of the national AAAA tourist attractions since 2001 as well as one of the best nature reserves in Jiangsu Province. It is now under the protection of national law and has achieved the second highest rating for the quality of drinking water.
 
 When you visit the lake, you can enjoy two things. One is the local fresh tea. Another is the tasty fish from the lake. Around the lake, there are also many historic sites that you can visit, or join in fishing or picking up tea leaves.
