Yan Guan
Yanguan lies in south point of Yangtze River Delta, sandwiched between Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou. It was a famous rich town since Han dynasty (2100 year ago) for its advantaged position. Because it was close to the sea, Yangguan was a natural salt workshop which brought the place a large quantity of fortune in ancient China. Rapidly, Yangguan grew into a commercial town for salt business. Besides, Yanguan is the best site to see the tidal in China. It is featured by the spectacular tide and wild beauty of nature. Many celebrities had come here and composed a lot of fabulous poems.
