 Shenyuan Garden
Shen garden, a famous place in Shaoxing city built by family Shen in Song dynasty, lies in southeast the downtown. With the exquisite tower, pavilion, rockery hill, pod, the garden attracted many celebrities and poets. Another reason is concern with a tragic love story. It is about the great poet Luyou and his wife. They were separated with each other for the feudal ethical codes. 10 years later after the devoice, they met here again. Both of them composed a tragic but fabulous poem to express their feelings. Soon later, His lover died with sorrow and unhappiness. This story made the garden renowned ever since.
