Located in downtown area of Shaoxing, it was built in the South Song dynasty (A.D. 1256). With 5 meters in height and 3.2 meters in width, Bazi Bridge crosses a total distance of 4.5 meters. It lies on the intercross of 3 rivers, 3 streets and 4 roads. Besides, it was designed with two arched holes which solved the complicated traffic problem as well.

Near the Bazi bridge, the ancient residences are well preserved by town people. Meanwhile, the local government has made the protection planning to preserve the precious heritage.
