Spectacular Mt.Hua & Ancient Capital of Tang Dynasty

　　Main attraction--Mt. Huashan

　　Situated in Huayin County, Mt. Huashan is some 120 kilometers （about 75 miles） east of Xian City in Shaanxi Province. It is one of the five sacred mountains of China and was called Mt.Taihuashan in ancient times for its five main peaks shaped much like a flower.

　　Hua was historically the location of several influential Taoist monasteries, and was known as a center for the practice of traditional Chinese martial arts. This mountain is celebrated for its majestic breath-taking crags, steep paths, beautiful scenery and it is said to be the most precipitous mountain in the world.

Itinerary

Day 01 Shangh—Xi’an

Arrive in Xian, the guide will meet you at the airport and make the transfer to the hotel. It will be your free time afterwards. Stay at Xi’an Grand New World Hotel or the same class.

Day 02 Xi’an—Mt. Huashan (B, L)

In the morning, you will visit the ancient City Wall, which was built in 1370 A.D and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built in 652 A.D, contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang. After lunch, transfer you to Mt. Huashan and take cable car to the mountain, then go for walk to East Peak. Stay at Dongfeng Hotel or the same class.

Day 03 Mt. Huashan—Xi’an—Shanghai (B, L)

Early this morning, enjoy the beautiful sunrise of Mt.Huashan.Then take cable car to the foot of Mt. Huashan in the morning, then transfer to visit the Museum of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Dynasty in the afternoon, which is one of the eight wonders in the world. After that, you will be transferred to the airport for the departure flight to Shanghai.
